Something about this just kills me. In the first you have this boy who, even though he puts up this wall of arrogance, feels everything. He feels terrified, and shows it, he gets angry, and shows it, every emotion; he has a hard time holding back anything he thinks or feels.

Then you have him older, and he’s all but numb; indifferent to everything happening around him. I’m sure he’s still scared, still feels, but he doesn’t want to. Its like he’s purposefully numbing himself because of the pain and negative emotions he’s been run over with time and time again.

In truth I feel so sorry for Draco. Thats why I could never bring myself to hate him, even though for so long I couldn’t stand him. He felt, he trusted, he believed, he believed in his family and that they only had his best interests at heart.

To see that little boy, so full of any and every kind of life, turn into someone who just doesn’t want to care anymore, and to an extent doesn’t care anymore it just… it breaks my heart.

^ brb, going to go cry. Forever. Plus a little bit more.

THANK YOU, WHOEVER MADE THIS POST. I feel like the only person who is completely heartbroken for Draco in the last few movies, when you see how his childhood was truly robbed from him. The Dark Lord has an abiotic relationship with everyone who follows him. He is a parasite who sucks the good things out of a person’s life. If Lucius hadn’t gotten wrapped up in the trappings of being a Death Eater, Draco could’ve enjoyed his youth more.

THIS is why I like Draco so much. He’s one of my favorite characters.

This is also why I identify myself with him so much..

Bless this entire post.
